The Maritime Centre/Newcastle Maritime Museum Society is entering a new phase.
The Maritime Centre tells the story of Newcastle's rich maritime history. Wrecks, rescues, coal, convicts, merchant navy and butcher boats and much much more.
We have had our current exhibition in place for sometime however we have many more stories that we want to tell.
Our volunteers are gathering stories for exhibitions including, Indigenous Maritime History, Ferries and Punts and the Wharves, Pubs and colourful people of the Harbour.
We need your help. All money recieved through this program will be dedicated to the establishment of a new exhibition space.
