Northern Community Legal Centre provides free legal services to people in Melbourne’s northern growth corridors – some of the most culturally diverse and fastest-growing areas in the state. While our core operations are government funded, we rely on the generosity of philanthropists and private donations to establish specialist programs for people experiencing some of the greatest systemic disadvantage in Victoria.

Your donation will help us continue running several important, innovative programs – including Safe Steps to Legal Rights, which provides wraparound support for women with complex legal needs at family violence crisis accommodation sites. These women often face multiple, compounding and urgent legal challenges. The onsite support we provide ensures they don’t have to return to an unsafe home or become trapped in long term instability and homelessness.
