Northern Community Legal Centre provides free legal services to people in Melbourne’s northern growth corridors – some of the most culturally diverse and fastest-growing areas in the state. While our core operations are government funded, we rely on the generosity of philanthropists and private donations to establish specialist programs for people experiencing some of the greatest systemic disadvantage in Victoria.
Your donation will help us continue running several important, innovative programs – including Safe Steps to Legal Rights, which provides wraparound support for women with complex legal needs at family violence crisis accommodation sites.
Funding will also be directed to our Take the First Step project, which trains local women to be family violence educators and leaders in their community.
