North Queensland Women's Legal Service

Free legal help for women experiencing domestic violence

Too many women are injured or killed by their current or former partner. Too many children suffer from witnessing violence in their homes. Please help NQWLS provide vital legal assistance to women in need. Access to free legal help and support helps women change their lives - so that they can live free from fear and violence.

What do we do?

NQWLS provides free legal help and support to women experiencing domestic violence and other family law problems. It receives more than 10,000 requests for help each year. Many women struggle to access the legal help they need due to their rural or remote location, or lack of finances, or due to cultural or language barriers. Sadly, there are too many women that NQWLS is unable to assist, due to its limited resources.

What can you do?

NQWLS is a not for profit community legal centre. Your donation will directly help provide free legal assistance to vulnerable women and children. Your donation will help change women's lives - for the better.

How will my donation be used?
