Where/How you can Donate: Whether you are a generous member of the public or representing a business, you can donate clothing to The Smith Family in NSW by calling our Material Donation Line on 1300 737 166. Our friendly group of volunteers will be happy to provide you with the details of the clothing bin nearest to you, or if you are in one of the ACT/NSW collection areas we can discuss the possibility of arranging collection from your home or business. Nationally, we greatly appreciate any bulk donations from manufacturers or business groups that can be sold in our ACT/NSW retail stores.

What happens with your donation: Good clean, wearable clothing and accessories, with no rips/stains or tears, either new or used, are the most valuable donations we receive. These items are always in demand and are suitable for sale in our retail stores.

Father Riley's Op Shop (Youth off the Streets)

Where/How you can donate: You can support our Op Shops by donating to them, buying from them and volunteering in them. Our shops are located in Sydney (Sefton and Casula), Bowral, Wyoming and the Hunter/Newcastle region (Newcastle, Cessnock, Singleton and Maitland). Address details for all Op Shops here.

Please do not dump your waste at our stores: our dumping costs are over $21,000- per year and we want to use these funds for our programs, not for waste disposal. We make every attempt to on-sell to recyclers what we can, but there is still a significant amount of waste dumped outside of operating hours that we cannot sell.

What happens with your donation: The Opportunity Shop service aims to provide affordable second-hand clothing, bric-a-brac, linen, blankets and furniture goods to those who are struggling financially.
