About this cause

Parkinson’s Australia is the national voice & advocate for over 150,000 people living with Parkinson’s, their families and carers, researchers and health professionals. We connect communities & promote awareness to support those affected by Parkinson's in living well & independently.

Our tagline is our promise to the community:

National Advocacy. Connection. Awareness.

  • We advocate for the Parkinson’s community on issues of national significance.
  • We work to reduce the impact of Parkinson’s by promoting best-practice care, ensuring people can maximise their opportunities to live well and maintain their independence.
  • We connect the Parkinson's community through a face-to-face National Conference held every two years (2025, 2027...).
  • We provide an information hub with the latest, expert-reviewed information for anyone wanting to learn more.
