Piano Project is a Melbourne-based charity that supports projects that improve access to music education.

Donations are tax deductible and any amount is welcome.

One of the projects we support is the Pizzicato Effect. The Pizzicato Effect was started in 2009 by the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra, it is a community program providing free string instrumental and musicianship tuition to children in the City of Hume. In 2023, the program became an incorporated organisation, with a plan to continue as an independent entity. Piano Project is delighted to be supporting them in their new chapter, we accept donations on their behalf and assist with administrative support for the program.
