The Ebola Crisis

Plan is working in West Africa to prevent the spread of Ebola and ensure people know what to do if anyone is showing signs of the disease.

We are:

• working with communities to make sure that they know what to do if someone shows symptoms of the disease.
• running public service campaigns, including radio broadcasts
• providing medical kits and food to families.
• training Health Workers in infectious control procedures and are providing hand washing stations in schools and communities

We urgently need your support to continue and strengthen our response.

$41 can provide 1 hand-washing facility for 100 people to help prevent the spread of the virus.
$111 can provide 80 infection control posters to help children and communities understand the signs and symptoms of Ebola.
$317 can provide 40 pairs of disposable golves and overalls to protect a health worker from the virus.
