PYT Fairfield is Western Sydney’s leading professional theatre company focused on the development and engagement of local young and emerging artists as core practice.

Our highly acclaimed and socially-engaged performance works have uplifted the power and creative excellence of young people in our community, on stages like Sydney Opera House, the Sydney Festival, Adelaide Festival Centre, on tour, and in our own theatre here in Sydney’s multicultural heartland.

As well as creating outstanding new performance works, we create strategic skills development, leadership and career pathways for young Western Sydney artists. Our proven professional development programs include ENSEMBLE, a six-month-long training intensive for 18-29 year olds, ARTIST RESIDENCIES with attached professional mentorships, and PILOTS, free performance skills workshops for young people 14-19 years, primarily from refugee and migrant backgrounds.

Donations to PYT will contribute to career defining opportunities for young Western Sydney artists and increased access to the arts for our local community.
