Quinno's 24hr Swim across Bondi

About this cause

This Tuesday, 24th March at 8am Quinno is attempting something never before achieved in Australia - a record-breaking 24-hour continuous ocean swim at his home beach of Bondi.

No rest.
No breaks.
Just 24 relentless hours in the open ocean.

He’ll swim laps, pinballing between North & South Bondi, pushing his body and mind to their absolute limits in a test of endurance, resilience and grit.

What makes this challenge even more extraordinary is that less than a year ago, Quinno underwent a life-saving liver transplant due to an incurable autoimmune disease called PSC. Following the surgery, his body initially rejected the donor organ and he fought through complications, setbacks and an extensive road to recovery. Now, instead of slowing down, he’s chosen to channel that second chance at life into something far bigger than himself.

Quinno's mission is two-fold:

  1. To shine a national spotlight on organ donation and transplant recovery - supporting the vital work of The Liver Foundation and Gift of Life, and encouraging Australians to understand the life-saving power of donation.
  2. He is also raising essential funds for Ocean Heroes, helping deliver free surfing events that build confidence, joy and connection for neurodivergent individuals and their families.

As a devoted Bondi lifeguard, father of three, husband, and long-time friend of Ocean Heroes, Quinno has spent his life protecting and uplifting others. This time, he’s asking for your support.

Every donation, big or small, fuels life-changing programs, supports transplant awareness, and helps neurodivergent folks unlock their confidence both in and out of the ocean!

Let’s rally behind him.
Let’s turn 24 hours into lasting impact.

Support Quinno. Please donate today.

Godspeed, Quinno -  we’ll be beside you in the big blue. 🌊
