Raising Literacy Australia Incorporated

Raising Literacy Australia Public Fund

Can you imagine a childhood without books?

You can help to break the cycle of illiteracy by pledging a one-off or monthly donation to help us provide quality books and learning materials to Australian children and families.

We support families to read, talk, play, and sing with their children from birth through universal and targeted programs, designed to nurture the development of young children, and provide information for parents to encourage rich home learning environments.

We aim to nurture children’s literacy development and help to establish a love of books.

With up to 85% of a child’s brain formed by the time they are three years old, now is the time to pledge your support to improve the life chances of these children and their families.

Your donation has a direct and positive impact for Australian children

$120 gifts a child books for 1 year

$40 gifts a child 1 book pack

$10 gifts a child 1 quality picture book.

"The book packs have been a great incentive for families to connect (...) We have seen great interest in books in the community recently as a result of both the Building Home Libraries and the book packs we gave out at our Twilight Nature Play". - Sarah Menaude, Occupational Therapist, Early Years & Child Development Division, Renmark Children’s Centre

Your gift has the power to improve social, emotional and educational outcomes for some of Australia’s most vulnerable children and contribute to a more literate, creative and capable society.

Please visit us at raisingliteracy.org.au to find out more about our early years literacy programs.

Thank you for sharing our vision to enrich Australian lives and communities through literacy.
