RAS Foundation Limited

Educational Scholarships & Community Grants

Rural and regional communities are often hardest hit by arbitrary forces beyond their control. An existing baseline of inequitable access to education, health and employment opportunies have been exacerbated by the pandemic, bushfires, drought, floods and mice plagues.

Since 2007, the RAS Foundation has invested over $8.2 million into country NSW through its education and community grant programs. This includes over 750 educational scholarships to regional and rural students studying a wide range of vocational subjects such as medicine, agriculture, education and vital trades.

When you donate to the RAS Foundation you help us build a stronger Australia through thriving, vibrant and innovative rural and regional communities.

The RAS Foundation is the philanthropic arm of the Royal Agricultural Society of NSW (RAS).  The Royal Agricultural Society of NSW is a not-for-profit organisation which has been an influential force in the direction and development of Australian agriculture through competitions, education and events since its foundation in 1822.

The RAS Foundation was established in 2007 to help build stong, sustainable and resilient rural and regional communities.  The RAS Foundation achieves this through a range of educational scholarships and community grants that help rural Australians to realise their potential and make a difference in their community.
