Where Your Donation Goes
1. Investing in Young People’s Futures
For a young person forced to leave their country, arriving safely in Australia isn’t the end of the story. As they leave school and transition into adulthood, essential support structures can fall away just as they are navigating education, employment, independence, and identity.
Your support enables STARTTS to create youth leadership opportunities and camps that build confidence, connection, skills, and self-advocacy. We don’t simply want to stop young people from slipping through the cracks—we want to give them the opportunity to lead.
2. A Global Impact
Your donation also supports the International Rehabilitation Council for Torture Victims (IRCT) network. As a longstanding member, STARTTS directs a portion of Ball funds to support rehabilitation centres assisting survivors of torture in some of the world’s most challenging environments.
“Because the refugee story doesn’t end with survival or resettlement. What becomes possible next matters too.”
