In Cambodia, the Salesians of Don Bosco have been serving vulnerable children and young people since 1991. Beginning with technical education programs for refugees along the Thai-Cambodian border, the Salesians now operate schools, vocational training centres and community programs across the country, focusing on young people who are at risk of being left behind by economic development. Over the last decade, graduates of their vocational programs have consistently moved into employment, reflecting the quality and relevance of the training provided.

Today, more than 4,500 children and students benefit from Salesian educational programs each year across Cambodia. In addition, around 500 disadvantaged young people annually receive technical and vocational training that helps them gain practical skills and secure decent employment.
