Samford Riding for the Disabled Inc. (Samford RDA) is a voluntary and not-for-profit organisation that provides both therapeutic and recreational horse riding programs and horse-related activities for children and adults with disabilities. 

The therapeutic benefits gained from horse riding are many and varied. They affect our riders' lives in many ways including: improving core strength and stability, developing co-ordination and balance, enhancing speech and communication skills, building confidence and enabling social interaction. IN addition, horse riding provides a fun outdoor activity for people who many find it difficult to participate in mainstream sports.

Samford RDA receives no regular government funding. Our operating costs are covered by lesson fees, sponsorships, grants, fundraising efforts and generous donations from community groups, corporations and the general public.

Samford Riding for the Disabled Inc. is a registered Australian charity with the Australian Charities and Not-for-Profit Commission.

All donations to Samford Riding for the Disabled Inc. are tax deductable.
