Why are we raising money?
An exciting new Outdoor Play Space is coming to Sandringham Primary School and we are asking you to be a part of history and donate to help to create a truly unique play space for our children.
Who are we?
Sandringham Primary School is located in the city of Bayside about 15kms south-east of the Melbourne city centre. Our school has a wonderful history, opening in 1855 with 11 students and is one of Australia's oldest primary schools. Today we have 500 students and understand a school only exists to meet the aspirations, needs and education of our children. Our vision is to develop, in partnership with the whole community, an effective, caring and dynamic learning environment. Our sports and playground areas are a part of that environment and they are now over 20 years old. Our goal is to design and build an outdoor play space that is safer, a fun place to explore, and interactive within a natural environment.
In 2017, our Sandy Primary Melbourne Marathon Team goal is to raise $30,000 to go towards the greater fundraising goal of $150,000 needed to realise this project.
What can you do?
