Sub-Saharan Africa has been identified as one of the poorest regions of the world, with 9 out of 10 children living in extreme poverty and half of all children still not in school. Women and girls in rural Ethiopia struggle without the most basic life needs like access to education, clean drinking water and health care. Our holistic approach allows us to support communities to prosper and children to thrive.
At the heart of our work is the involvement of the local people in Ethiopia, from villagers to local government leaders, in deciding where and how we do our work. Working at this grassroots level, we are able to understand the areas of greatest need and focus on education, clean water and health care projects to create the deepest impact in each community.
