Helping Canberra's young people participate in Scouting

About this cause

Investing in Scouting is an investment in today’s youth and Canberra’s future young leaders.

‘The Scout Effect’.  It’s proven.  Scouts simply do better.  Scouts have an overall better life satisfaction than their non-Scout peers, and the longer young people stay in Scouting, the more resilient they are likely to become.  That includes Canberra’s 1,800 current youth members.

Your donation contributes to the delivery of Scouting in the ACT.  It helps with the provision of equipment, Scout halls, youth and leader training opportunities, and keeps the basics in place, like insurances and administration.

We also acknowledge any Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander members who are part of Scouts ACT today.
