SES Port Phillip is a volunteer unit of the Victoria State Emergency Service. We respond to search and rescue, flood & storm emergencies, building damage and assisting Victoria Police, Fire Rescue Victoria and Ambulance Victoria within the City of Port Phillip area. SES Port Phillip covers the localities of Albert Park, Balaclava, Elwood, Garden City, Melbourne, Middle Park, Port Melbourne, Ripponlea, South Melbourne, Southbank, St Kilda, St Kilda East, St Kilda West and Windsor.
As a not-for-profit organisation SES Port Phillip rely on donations to purchase equipment such as chainsaws, ladders, rope, fuel, stretchers, vehicles including boats, lighting, road management, protective uniforms, sandbags, and building props.
