We're asking you, our local community members, for your urgent support. Help us find our forever home so that local children with a disability or developmental delay continue to thrive connect and belong.
For over 43 years, Shaping Outcomes has been a vital service, advocating for and supporting hundreds of (insert exact number) children with developmental delays and disabilities across the Northern NSW region. Generous donations and support of our parents, local businesses, local clubs and philanthropists have built, and maintained our Tweed Heads based facility.
We have been issued a ‘notice to vacate’ from the Northern NSW Local Health District (NNSWLHD), as of May 14th 2024.
We are being asked to leave our home. A home that we've shared with so many families right across the Tweed. A home we've seen children living with a disability or developmental delay nurtured, encouraged and flourish under our first-class early intervention support.
Shaping Outcomes has been offered no compensation for the investment we and the local community have made to our premises over the last 40 years. We understand that change is necessary and we are committed to continue working locally with the hospital for the best outcomes and to ensure families and children are provided with the best services across our region.
The “Notice to vacate” has left us with no home and only, 2 months to relocate our programs and supports to a temporary facility. These facilities, will work but are not suitable for a long term solution.
We need your urgent support to helps us find our “Forever Home”.

We acknowledge and pay our respect to the Bundjalung, Arakwal and Yaegl people, Custodians of the Jagun (Land), on which we provide our services. We acknowledge the Ancestors, Elders and Community members who to this day draw their reference and framework of values and law from it. We pay respect to all indigenous people and their Elders from other nations, acknowledging the story that brings us all together. We understand that we are all part of the Goodiarbul (the long story) and that we are adding a layer of story to this land. It is our desire for that story to be respectful of the Jagun and the Nyorung and the People birthed from this place.
