Shaun Parker & Company

That’s right…we are thrilled to announce that thanks to our major philanthropic partners, every $1 dollar that you donate will turn into $4!

“... blown away by a choreographic language as gutsy and heart wrenching as Shakespeare’s poetry.”
Sydney Arts Guide

Shaun Parker & Company are raising funds to support the European tour of KING in 2023. The show is already locked in for Germany, Luxembourg, and Italy, but we need extra support to get us there. Shaun, Ivo and dancers want to share the powerful performance with a global audience, after its redevelopment for WorldPride Arts, part of the Sydney WorldPride Festival.   Our 10 dancers need the extra two weeks of rehearsal to build up their stamina in preparation for the tour!   All international flight costs have soared due to post-covid pressure and the war in Ukraine, so we need your help to get our 10 amazing dancers to Europe!

This is the first major work for SP&CO as we emerge post-covid, which has been an incredibly difficult journey. Shaun and the performers create work because they are compelled to do so. And in doing so, they add an essential and unique element to the rich canvas of Australia’s cultural output. And in spite of the challenges, they artistically raise and then clear the bar year after year.

The company's achievements are in no small part down to the hugely generous government and philanthropic partners whose ongoing support is essential to the company’s survival and creative output. We are grateful that our generous partners have generously stated that for every dollar you donate, they will quadruple it.

We hugely appreciate your support.
