We need 1,000 supporters to donate $50 each to help our team of 15 outstanding artists and arts workers to get to Europe!

That’s right…we have an invitation to one of Europe's most prestigious dance festivals, but we need assitance with the international flights to get there!

Our highly acclaimed major work 'KING' has been handpicked by the internationally renowned Artistic Director, Aja Jung, to be performed at the esteemed Belgrade Dance Festival in April 2025.

The Belgrade Dance Festival is the largest festival in Europe that is dedicated especially for dance, and in 2024 alone, attracted over 17,000 visitors!

The festival celebrates the world’s most prominent choreographers and dance companies including: Pina Bausch, Akram Khan, Hofesh Shechter, William Forsythe, Crystal Pite, Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui, the Paris Opera Ballet, Nederlands Dance Theatre,  Batsheva Dance Company, Ultima Vez, Sydney Dance Company and more.
 
To be personally invited to perform KING at the Belgrade Dance Festival is an incredible honour!
 
Despite our international reputation for consistently delivering exceptional works for diverse audiences, Shaun Parker & Company were recently unsuccessful in our applications to receive federal funding for multi-year operational support AND for our 2024/2025 annual program AND for any funding for international touring. 

This lack of support from federal funding is incredibly disappointing and has placed our small company at a significant disadvantage when showcasing some of Australia’s most sought-after dance works to audiences at home and around the world.
 
This lack of federal support has left us in the difficult position, where we need to ask for your support to help us raise funds, so our talented dancers can share this exceptional work with international audiences.
