Kinfolk exists to create inclusive opportunities for people who find themselves marginalized and experiencing social isolation.

Embedded within our hospitality business is a Volunteer Training Program that creates inclusive opportunities for people facing complex challenges, including physical and learning disabilities, mental health challenges, unemployment, and recent migrants and refugees.

Each week upwards of 25 people participate in our program gaining social connection, hospitality skills and confidence – with many of them going on to gain paid employment.

We have recently partnered with Fitzroy Learning Network to run an accredited coffee training program, with learners undertaking 2 modules of the Certificate III in hospitality over 10 weeks.

We aim to build on this throughout 2023.
