Community Foundation Snowy Valleys Region (CFSVR) is one of many Community Foundations established across Australia and around the world. We collect and distribute gifts from a wide range of donors to address community needs in the Snowy Valleys region of NSW which includes towns such as Tumut, Tumbarumba, Talbingo, Batlow, Adelong and surrounding rural localities.

• We fund what matters - By gathering donations and distributing them through a community-led grant process, we ensure that funding goes where it is needed most.
• We offer local-giving advice - Grounded in research and community insight, we help donors and partners give in ways that create long-term value.
• We facilitate and connect - We create space for conversation and community-led collaboration. We help communities set priorities and shape their futures.
• We build lasting legacies - Contributions made through the foundation become part of something enduring — creating social, economic, environmental and cultural benefits that continue for generations.

The CFSVR receives charitable gifts to fund projects of community development and renewal to improve social, cultural, environmental and economic opportunities.

Support is generally provided in the form of grants to community organisations for charitable purposes.
