More people than ever are doing it tough right now, and struggling families and individuals are increasingly faced with difficult decisions of having to skip meals in order to pay rent, electricity bills, and in some cases essential medical expenses. According to FareShare, "Demand for food relief is set to hit an all time high this winter", while Covid, floods, and the increasing cost of living are all impacting our local community, making life even more difficult for already-vulnerable people. 

We believe NO-ONE SHOULD GO HUNGRY this winter - and your kindness will directly help us make sure homeless, vulnerable and at-risk individuals and struggling families get a hot and hearty meal in their tummies throughout the cold winter months. All donations over $2 are fully tax-deductible.

YOUR DONATION IMPACT

One Meal is 100% volunteer powered, so every dollar donated goes directly to helping feed those in need: 

• $30 provides the ingredients for a huge pot of hot soup & bread to nourish many hungry patrons at one of our free community meals services 
• $75 helps to provide filling casseroles and hearty stews at our commumnity meal services
• $100 enables us to get 200kgs of fresh fruit & veg from our food donor sponsors, and contributes to 150 hampers being packed & delivered to families in need
• $500 fuels delivery of hot meals to isolated, immobilised and vulnerable social housing and/or hostel tenants referred by social support agencies 
• $1,000 gives 2000 of the most vulnerable, marginalised and disadvantaged people in our community a healthy, hot meal served with compassion, connection and hope by our volunteers at 11 locations across Sydney every week
