The Spirit of the Streets Choir is a not-for-profit community organisation aimed at providing an environment where people from all walks of life and all social backgrounds can come together in song and friendship. It is a choir where people who experience social disadvantage, isolation and often stigma because of their circumstances would otherwise not be able to enjoy the benefits of singing.

SOS welcomes everyone as active members of a performing choir in a safe, welcoming and non-judgemental environment, whether they are able to sing or think that they can’t sing. Our membership is drawn from all over Perth and there are no barriers to participation.

The Choir provides an atmosphere that takes the message of unity and social acceptance through singing to the broader community. The Choir performs gigs at Not-for-Profit organisations, corporate offices, social events for corporates, community organisations, local councils, government organisations, aged care organisations, and a variety of other venues.

Continuing funds are required to allow the Choir to continue its community work and these funds will be utilised in meeting the normal costs of running a choir.
