Hi, I’m Sophia, serving as Office and Volunteer Manager with Access Hope. My connection to Access Hope began long before I joined the team - in 2011, my grandparents helped establish the very first children’s home in Kenya, planting a legacy of compassion and purpose that has shaped my own journey.

In March 2025, I travelled to Kenya for the first time and was deeply moved by the people, the culture, and the transformative work Access Hope is doing. By June, I felt called to join the ministry myself. In October 2025, I took a leap of faith, relocating from England to Western Australia to serve full-time in this role.

In my position, I coordinate volunteers, manage office operations, run fundraisers, develop partnerships, and work closely with the CEO on strategic and critical tasks. I also organise team retreats, oversee volunteer engagement, maintain administrative systems, and assist with board processes, compliance, and planning for international initiatives. Your support allows me to dedicate myself full-time, helping our team collectively transform the lives of children, families, and communities.
