Help support Australians living with CMT
For 36 years, CMT Australia (CMTAA Inc.) has been providing support, information and connection to people and families affected by Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease (CMT).
CMT affects approximately 1 in 2,500 people, meaning around 11,000 Australians may be living with Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease (CMT). This inherited neurological condition can cause muscle weakness, changes in sensation, foot and hand deformities, difficulties with walking and dexterity, balance problems and fatigue.
As a community organisation, CMT Australia is primarily run by volunteers and supported through membership contributions and the generosity of donors. However, the cost of operating a national support organisation continues to grow.
Your donation helps us continue providing vital services, resources and support to people living with CMT and their families. It will allow us to expand our reach, improve access to information and ensure that no one has to navigate life with CMT alone.
Every contribution, big or small, helps strengthen the CMT community and supports a better future for Australians living with this lifelong condition.
Thank you for your support.
