BTPA was founded by a team of passionate volunteers determined to improve the lives of children in the Philippines.

Our challenge is to 'do what we can, when we can, with what we have'. Turns out this is quite a lot!

During our 22+ years of supporting Bahay Tuluyan, we have - through the incredible generosity of our donors and supporters - provide significant, direct, tangible and crucial assistance to vulnerable children. This includes investing in sustainable projects and infrastructure to improve Bahay Tuluyan's capacity as well as providing funding for day to day programs.

What is Bahay Tuluyan?

Bahay Tuluyan is a children's rights organisation in the Philippines working to fulfill children’s rights and to prevent and respond to abuse and violence against children.

Bahay Tuluyan runs ten programs centred around enabling resilient children, empowering youth, supporting safe families and building child-friendly communities.

BTPA Inc was established in Australia to support the ongoing mission of Bahay Tuluyan and to empower young people to work towards a socially just world. 

It is run entirely by volunteers who are deeply committed to keeping overheads to a minimum.
