Pride Foundation Australia are pleased to extend our key focus areas of philanthropic funding to include a dedicated national First Nations grants program.

This grant round will focus on funding projects supporting Aboriginal, Torres Strait Islander and South Sea Islander LGBTQIA+ Sistergirl and Brotherboy peoples.

How you can support us

By donating to this cause, you will be directly contributing to the funding of these projects that aim to support Aboriginal, Torres Strait Islander and South Sea Islander LGBTQIA+ Sistergirl and Brotherboy peoples in at least one of the following areas:

• Community development, or
• Education and training initiatives, or
• Health and wellbeing initiatives, or
• Applied, community-led research with tangible outcomes in the field, or
• Events including arts and cultural or conferences.

Our Commitment

Pride Foundation Australia pays respect to the traditional custodians of the land and sea on which we live, work and play, we pay our respects to Elders past and present, acknowledging that sovereignty was never ceded.

Pride Foundation Australia commits through the resources we have available to us, to work with, for, and alongside Aboriginal, Torres Strait Islander and South Sea Islander LGBTQIA+ Sistergirl and Brotherboy peoples and communities to embed a self-determined future.

We further commit the contribution of a significant proportion of grant funding received to Aboriginal Torres Strait  South Sea Islander LGBTQIA+ Sistergirl and Brotherboy led initiatives to improve social outcomes.

Australia was, and always will be Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander land.
