Help a family settle safely into their new home

Eighteen families are preparing to move into a new, purpose‑built supportive housing facility for families in South Brisbane. This will be a fresh start after experiencing homelessness, domestic and family violence, and ongoing instability.

Their units are furnished, but families still need the everyday essentials that make a home comfortable, functional and ready for family life. You can be part of a family’s fresh, safe start by contributing to housing essentials for their unit.

Your donation helps provide the practical items every household needs: kitchen utensils, dinnerware and cookware, cleaning equipment, towels, bedding and other basics that turn an empty cupboard into a place of comfort and care.

We are aiming to raise $2,000 for each of the 18 units. Every contribution – large or small – helps create a safe, welcoming environment where parents can focus on rebuilding and children can feel settled and secure.
