Grey Panthers Youth Development Fund
Darryl Butler has danced with the Grey Panthers for seven years and in 2017 suggested to the Troupe that by making weekly donations of spare change they could raise funds to support a new generation of NT dancers. The whole group got behind the idea and the Grey Panther Youth Development Fund was born.
‘Tracks has given us so many opportunities to do things we wouldn’t otherwise do and we want to give back and give something to younger dancers, offer a helping hand.’ Darryl Butler
You are able to join the Grey Panthers in supporting opportunities for young Northern Territory dancers by donating to their Youth Development Fund.
The Grey Panthers
The Grey Panthers are Australia's longest running senior dance Troupe. They meet at Tracks Dance studio in Darwin for their weekly class, which is run by Tracks Artistic Co-Director David McMicken and Tracks resident Dance Animateur Kelly Beneforti. The Grey Panthers perform throughout the year at community events and have become a much loved and valued dance Troupe to Darwin audiences.
