Survive & Thrive: Keep ANTaR Victoria Strong

About this cause

We want to Survive for now and Thrive in 2026. ANTaR Victoria’s focus has returned to strengthening Treaty and Truth-telling in Victoria, and wants to continue its work walking alongside the First Peoples’ Assembly of Victoria and with the Yoorrook Justice Commission outcomes.

Since its founding in 1997, ANTaR Victoria has been a consistent voice for justice, Treaty, and reconciliation. From defending Native Title rights in the 1990s to supporting the 2023 Voice referendum campaign, the volunteer-driven organisation has spent nearly 30 years educating and mobilising non-Indigenous Victorians to stand in solidarity with First Peoples.

ANTaR Victoria has always relied on donations and membership rather than government funding, so we can maintain a strong and independent voice. Like many small organisations, we operate on a shoestring budget, but increasing pressures and rising demands have finally caught up with us.

We believe this is not the time to step back from our work. Now more than ever, non-Indigenous people need to be active in supporting the first statewide Treaty process in Australia.

Please show your support and donate to this urgent appeal.
