The Sydney St. Patrick’s Day Parade & Festival returns from Saturday March 12th–17th 2026 turning The Rocks and Circular Quay green with a spectacular parade and weekend-long festival.

We need your help! 

This event brings the very best of Irish culture to the heart of Sydney. But it simply couldn’t happen without the generosity of volunteers, supporters, and the wider Irish community. 

While SSPD does receive money in grants, sponsorship, fundraising and donations, with the rising costs of running the parade, these funds no longer cover the event. We need the Irish community to dig deep and make a donation in the name of their chosen county to help support the running of the parade and ensure we can continue to bring a free, family-friendly festival to the people of Sydney. 

County Colours campaign

You may be far from home - but your county needs you here in Sydney this St. Patrick’s Day.

Whether you wear the green and red of Mayo or the green and gold of Kerry, by donating in the name of your county, you’ll help ensure your home patch is in with a shot of being crowned the most generous county all while supporting the running of the Sydney parade. 

The County Colours Campaign will run for the month of March 2026.
