TAX DEDUCTIBLE DONATION

The Sydney Zombie Walk is a not-for-profit organization with Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) status, providing a Community Event annually to bring together people from all walks of life and support worthwhile causes.

To successfully run this event, we require a budget ranging from $15,000 to $20,000 to cover essential expenses such as infrastructure, restroom facilities, public address systems, insurance, medical services, advertising, and venue rental etc.

This year's event will take place on Saturday, October 24, 2026 between 12pm and 5pm, at Sydney Overseas Cruise Terminal South Wharf at Circular Quay.

Over the next 5 years, we aim to increase attendance from 4,000 participants to between 10,000 and 12,000, as was achieved in 2017 before the pandemic.

Additionally, we plan to enhance our visibility this year through light rail advertising if possible and signage at the venue to promote the event. This includes creating photo walls and other promotional materials.

We would be immensely grateful for any contributions you can make to help cover our operational costs. All Donations will receive a DGR Tax Deductible receipt that you can include on your next Tax return.
