Synergy & Taikoz Personal Donations Campaign

Synergy & Taikoz Ltd

Synergy Percussion and Taikoz are two of the most unique and world-renowned ensembles at the forefront of contemporary percussion music.

The Artistic Directors of Synergy and Taikoz, Timothy Constable and Ian Cleworth, are exemplary musicians and inspiring leaders, and their team of percussionists and taiko players evince the most vital qualities of the very best music making: skill, integrity, passion and dedication.

As I'm sure you are aware, the cost of running two ensembles, developing new works and presenting educational programs is high. Our 2016 program alone includes two international tours (South Korea and India), a 5-week, 17-concert tour to ten capital and regional cities in five states and territories (Taikoz Chi Udaka), an Australian tour with the Australian Chamber Orchestra (Synergy Cinemusica), and a wide range of regional and metropolitan performances by both ensembles. This level of activity cannot be achieved through government funding, box office takings and student class fees alone.

Despite the uncertainty created by recent changes to federal arts funding, we remain positive about the future. We have great projects in development, renewed energy and vibrant ideas. Your help to achieve all of this is crucial. Please help us continue to create amazing music.

All donations over $5,000 will be acknowledged as a Commissioning Circle member and all donations over $500 will be acknowledged as an Inner Beat Circle member. This ensures you are the first to hear about the artistic direction and vision, receive briefings on the ensembles, be invited to private performances and enjoy opportunities to meet with the artists.
