SYO's vision is to nurture and inspire gifted young musicians to achieve artistic excellence. Each year, SYO receives nearly 800 applications from young musicians from over 300 different communities and 200 educational institutions. 

We believe that no deserving young musician should be excluded from the SYO program due to financial reasons. In addition to ensuring their children have the best possible instruments and teachers to match their developing performance standard, the families of many talented musicians experience financial hardship and are unable to meet SYO's membership requirements.

Your donation can help provide an environment for a gifted young musician to thrive within SYO - the premier orchestral training program in NSW. 

• $4,000 covers the full cost of one musician for a full year 
• $1,780 - Senior program (participation, camp & tour fees), and play an integral part in a leading musicians' career development
• $1,250 - Junior program (participation & camp fees), nurturing the talents of one of our young musicians
• $1,000 covers (participation and travel and accommodation) for a regional musician to attend Summer School
• $460 covers compulsory tour fees for a senior scholarship student
