On turning 30 last year, Tasdance set a course to be a dance development hub - a new, exciting vision to take the company beyond its first 30 years.

The hub plans include:

• a local, national and international artist-in-residence program
• a permanent community dance and education team with excellent teachers resources - if we can get the resources
• a workshop program for southern Tasmania
• community participation projects, including accessible dance events in everyday places
• exciting creative collaborations across the arts - like our great partnership with the Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra
• strengthening our nurturing of young and emerging dance artists
• making and presenting dynamic dance
• our Active Audiences program for enabling a deeper appreciation of dance.

It's no longer just about us, it's about Tasdance collaborating and forming partnerships to inspire a love of dance, nurture new generations of dance artists, and enable healthy, active communities.
