About this cause

Trans and Gender Diverse Bendigo and Beyond was formed in 2020, out of the need for social connection but quickly grew into an organisation providing advocacy, visibility, education, consultation, referral and activities that improve the health and wellbeing of trans and gender diverse people in Bendigo and beyond.

The peer led social support works to improve the health and wellbeing for trans and gender diverse people in regional and rural Victoria. Monthly social catchups provide an opportunity for community to come together in a safe and welcoming space to connect, share stories and feel a sense of belonging.

Further to the Monthly social group, TGDBB provides opportunities for participation through volunteering, event planning and advocacy, which has helped many isolated trans people feel empowered, confident and proud.
