The Theatre for Social Justice Program, led by adoptee, theatre maker and adoption researcher, Dr Alison Ingram in partnership with VANISH and ARMS Victoria, is a powerful creative initiative for adoptees and mothers of loss to adoption. Through theatre-making, storytelling and performance, the program provides a safe, trauma-informed space for people whose experiences have too often been silenced.
Your donation will help cover the essential costs of staging these works, supporting rehearsal time, venue hire, creative development, and ensuring participants can take part at no cost. Contributions will also enable the further development of the new plays in 2026, helping to bring these important stories to a wider audience.
By supporting this campaign, you are helping adoptees and mothers of loss to adoption reclaim their narratives, build community, and drive social change through the transformative power of the arts.
