The Beginning Place is an Australian registered charity created to walk alongside young people and families through some of life’s most difficult seasons — creating places of belonging, connection, healing and opportunity.

We believe stronger young people help build stronger families, and stronger families help build stronger communities.

Our major projects include Ground Zero Youth Space, a safe and inclusive place where young people can connect, belong, learn, develop skills and discover new opportunities, and Coming Home, our vision for a place where families affected by trauma, grief, addiction, incarceration and family breakdown can find rest, reconnection and support.
