Established in 2005, becoming a not-for-profit in 2014 and a registered charity in 2017, The Cad Factory has developed an innovative program of cross-sectoral approaches to artistic projects with non-arts partners.
Based in Narranderra, NSW, The Cad Factory has developed a reputation for delivering ethical artworks and community projects with local, national and international significance.
In 2020, The Cad Factory was severely impacted by the COVID-19 Pandemic, however we are looking to the future with a positive outlook and a strong program of cross-sectoral projects. These include:
- A major exhibition of arts & health research in regional NSW in collaboration with The Sydney Facial Nerve Clinic
- Facilitating the development of a new exhibition with learning-disabled artists
- The creation of a digital resource to assist with the emotional journey of patients experiencing facial nerve paralysis as a result of issues such as head and neck cancer, brain tumours, Bell’s Palsy, and trauma.
- A new exhibition that explores the political lives of women in regional and urban locations.
We would greatly appreciate any support you can give to help us achieve this!
