We believe that the human spirit is wonderfully creative. We believe people have the ability and the desire to be self-reliant. We help empower impoverished people to achieve that self-reliance.
While poverty can drain human dignity, we believe that by re-energising that spirit and shifting the mindset from one of hopelessness to one of optimism, people can be the source of their own success.
We also believe a shared vision is powerful and can become an amazing, abundant reality. Our goal is to break the cycle of poverty and end world hunger.
The funds will be used in order to establish sustainable farming practices in rural areas in Africa, India and Bangladesh. Funding is also utilised to support our economically sustainable epicentre strategy in Africa. The epicentre strategy allows clusters of rural villages to become self-reliant within 5 years. The epicentre buildings house community programs for health, education, food security and economic development. We have a microfinance program targeted at economically empowering women through loan assistance, which enables them to create income to support their families. In India, we also train and empower elected women leaders to be agents of change to shift agendas to improving health, nutrition and family income.
