In July 2026, we will move into our new home at Balam Balam Place in Brunswick, a vibrant creative community hub. As we build our future in this wonderful new home, we're asking our community to help us lay strong foundations for the years ahead.

Since 2018, The Yarra Voices has provided exceptional music education and performance opportunities for young people. We believe every child should have access to the joy, confidence, friendships and life-changing performance experiences that come through singing, regardless of their family's financial circumstances.

Help GREAT BIG TREE Take Root
Alongside our move to Brunswick, we're continuing work on developement for a brand new children's opera GREAT BIG TREE, created especially for The Yarra Voices by acclaimed Australian composer Alice Chance and theatre maker Julie Ritchey.
Developed in collaboration with our choristers, this imaginative new work explores community, belonging, the natural world and the power of young voices. Through workshops and creative development, our singers are helping shape the story, music and theatrical world of the opera itself.
Your donation will help fund the next stages of development in October 2026, including creative workshops, composer and artist fees and rehearsal resources.
