I am attempting to swim 100km as part of the 24hr Swim for Ocean Heroes to raise critical funds for their free event programs for the autism community. With the other teams, I am aiming to raise a combined total of $100,000 to provide 1000 free surf sessions for autistic kids.
From Saturday 14th to Sunday 15th November 2026, I will swim continuously for 100km (excluding toilet breaks, safety protocols and nutrition breaks)
I am attempting this solo swim because everyone deserves the chance to experience the joy and freedom of riding a wave, regardless of their neurological differences.
This 100km and 24 hour swim isn't just about my endurance; it is about making a statement. A statement that champions inclusivity, celebrates neurodiversity, and provides opportunities for individuals to thrive in sports.
During the swim, I will be visualising the smiling faces of neurodivergent surfers catching their first wave. The thought of their sense of accomplishment, newfound confidence, and the joy that surfing and open water brings. Those images will be my driving force, pushing me through my moments of exhaustion and self-doubt.
This is more than just a personal feat for me; it is a symbol of solidarity and support.
