The Trevor Daley Fund (TDF) was established in 1992 to honour the memory of one of the AIDS Action Council's (now Meridian) earliest members and volunteers, Trevor Daley.
TDF provides financial assistance to people living with HIV in times of financial hardship and also to achieve specific goals and aspirations. TDF minimises the social and personal impacts of HIV by supporting people living with HIV to meet their needs and plan for their future health and wellbeing with independence and self-determination. TDF provides practical support to enhance the quality of life of people living with HIV/AIDS.
TDF relies on community donations, as well as funds directed from specific fundraising and community events. TDF is managed by Meridian (formerly AIDS Action Council) and all administrative and banking costs are fully absorbed by this agency. This means every cent of every donation goes directly to people living with HIV/AIDS in our communities.
Why donate to the Trevor Daley Fund?
Anyone can contract HIV. It is a virus that doesn't discriminate. However, people do. TDF provides practical, emotional and financial support to the most vulnerable people living with HIV/AIDS.
Your donation will help end isolation, end stigma and end HIV transmission by reducing the negative impacts people living with HIV experience.
Meridian (formerly AIDS Action Council) is a Deductable Gift Recipient. All donations above $2 are tax deductible.
