When a native animal is brought to us, time is critical.
A koala struck by a car. A sea turtle entangled in fishing gear. A wallaby joey found orphaned on the roadside. Each patient arrives frightened, injured and unable to tell us where it hurts.
Without the ability to see inside, our vets are working blind. Internal bleeding, organ damage, a joey hidden in the pouch of an unconscious mother. These are the invisible emergencies that cost lives when they go undetected.
That's where you come in.
The Moreton Bay Wildlife Hospital Foundation is raising funds for a GE Veterinary Ultrasound System. This system is a world-class, non-invasive diagnostic tool that allows our clinical team to assess injuries instantly, guide treatment decisions, and dramatically improve survival outcomes for Southeast Queensland's most vulnerable wildlife.
This single piece of equipment will:
We cannot treat what we cannot see. Ultrasound is not a luxury. In wildlife medicine, it is a lifeline.
This is a one-time opportunity to fully fund a piece of life-saving equipment that will serve Queensland's wildlife for decades to come. We are seeking a single philanthropic partner - an individual, family, or business - to own this moment entirely. One gift. One machine. One legacy. Your name on the plaque will be there the first time our vets save a koala, and every time after that. If you are ready to make that gift, we would love to hear from you.
