Uni Camp For Kids

Uni Camp for Kids Appeal

Uni Camp for Kids provides week-long summer camps for underprivileged Perth kids, who are selected on the basis of social, emotional, and/or financial disadvantages in their everyday lives. These camps give the children a chance to just be kids having fun for a week, and escape from the hardships in their everyday lives. Student volunteers act as "mums and dads" for the week, and take the kids out to various holiday activities each day. We are collecting funds in order to finance major expenses associated with these camps, which are provided at no cost to the families.

How will these funds be used?

The funds will be used to finance major expenses such as accommodation, food, venue admission, transport, medical supplies, sporting equipment, and insurance costs. Uni Camp for Kids organizers and volunteers not only receive no remuneration for their work, but also help to subsidize smaller expenses with their own donations during camps. Every $300 raised corresponds to one more kid that can be taken on camp.
