UnitingCare Harrison assists people to take charge of their own lives. UnitingCare Harrison provides accommodation and support to people who are homeless or at risk of being homeless, supports the young people in our community through our Youth and Adolescent programs and our Disability programs encourage people to develop independent living skills and community connectedness.

How will the funds be used?

Donations assist people in our community by providing emergency accommodation, food, bedding and toiletries to families and single adults who are homeless.

Key areas of expenditure

• $25 will provide a Hygiene Pack
• $30 will provide a Singles food parcel
• $35 will provide a Bedding pack
• $45 will provide a Family food parcel
• $100 will provide a hotel for one night for a family in crisis
• $500 will rescue a family from a rooming house and enable them to find long-term, affordable housing
