Welcome to the UNSW team! We are a young group of incredibly eager ocean swimmers, pool swimmers, triathletes and waterpolo players (a great mix if you ask us!) who will be taking on the Ocean Heros 24 hour swim this November!
We all met competing for UNSW waterpolo at unigames and since then developed a close knit group that is ready to tackle whatever challenge is thrown at us!
We’ve gathered a few extra recruits through the amazing UNSW swimming community and are fit and ready to jump in the water and cheer for a straight 24 hrs!
It is our stern belief that we will excel at this challenge, as when you have played waterpolo for 5 days straight in the Gold Coast sun, incredibly hungover, and on very minimal sleep, you can do literally anything.
So with our black and yellow pride, we’ll be hopping in the water at extremely unreasonable hours to raise money for ocean heros - an incredible charity that gives autistic people the opportunity to have fun and feel confident surfing across many beaches in Australia.
Your donations mean the absolute world to us, as our parents can only give so much money, and our friends are currently using their last $10 on an ice cold beer at happy hour :))
