Victoria State Emergency Services (VICSES) Upper Yarra Unit is comprised entirely of unpaid volunteers who sacrifice their time to help serve their community when they are in times of need. The State Emergency Service is a busy agency, we are the control agency for flood, storm, tsunami, earthquake and landslide emergencies. This means year round we receive requests for assistance whether that be fallen trees on roads, building damage, land slips, household flood inundation or assisting our partner agencies (Victoria Police, CFA, FRV, Ambulance Victoria) with tasks such as missing persons searches, casualty extrication and rescues or deployments to fire affected areas.

Our crew of highly trained and passionate volunteers do all we can support our fellow neighbours in their time of need, but this time it is us who is asking for your support in order to maintain the high standard of emergency response we strive to achieve.

Any support is greatly appreciated and will benefit the Upper Yarra community.
