VANISH is a Victorian-based not-for-profit organisation providing support to adults affected by past adoption practices including adopted people, mothers and fathers separated from a child through adoption and other family members. We also provide support to care leavers and donor conceived individuals.  

While we receive funds from the Victorian Government to deliver some of our services, demand for our support services far outweighs the resources we have available and like many individuals, families and businesses we face rising costs. 

Your donation will help us:

• expand our peer support and other group programs to reach more people affected by adoption and family separation
• advocate for greater recognition of the impacts of adoption and family separation and build the capacity of the health and community sector to work with people affected by adoption
• provide assistance to those who do not have the financial means to purchase the records and certificates they need for their search to proceed
• purchase new resources to enhance our search service
• demonstrate the impact of our work.
