VANISH is a Victorian community-based organisation providing free search, support and counselling services to individuals separated from their family of origin, to mothers and fathers separated from a child through past adoption practices, and to other family members. We also support care-leavers and people affected by donor conception. 

While we receive funds from the Victorian Government to deliver some of our services, demand for our support services far outweighs the resources we have available. 

Your donation will help us:

• expand our peer support groups and other group programs to reach more people affected by adoption and family separation
• advocate for greater recognition of the impacts of adoption and family separation and build the capacity of the health and community sector to work with people affected by adoption
• provide assistance to those who do not have the financial means to purchase the records and certificates they need for their search to proceed
• purchase of new resources to enhance our search service
• demonstrate the impact of our work.
